Alwaleed Philanthropies Announces the 11th Installment for the Beneficiaries of "Housing and Car Grants" Program

Alwaleed Philanthropies (AP), chaired by HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz AlSaud, announces the list of beneficiaries of the 11th installment of the "Housing and Car Grants" program. The program aims to provide 10,000 housing units and 10,000 cars to Saudi citizens throughout the Kingdom over 10 years. So far, Alwaleed Philanthropies has provided 22,818 beneficiaries with houses and cars as part of its "Housing and Car Grants" program. The number of beneficiaries from the housing and cars programs reached 22,818, respectively.

The foundation seeks to improve the living standards of Saudi citizens through various community development programs. The "Housing and Car Grants" program is one of the most important local programs, as it supports Saudi families with low incomes by helping them reduce their monthly expenses that go towards housing rents and transportation. The beneficiaries have to meet specific criteria set by the Alwaleed Philanthropies and which are available on the foundation’s official website: https://www.alwaleedphilanthropies.org

The foundation aims to empower all those in need, especially those with few resources. The beneficiaries of the 11th installment of the "Housing and Car Grants" program included a large number of people with special needs, because the foundation believes in enabling them to become more self-reliant, as well as better integrated in their communities.

The names of the 11th "Housing and Car Grants" program beneficiaries were announced on HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal’s Twitter account @alwaleed_talal. Alwaleed Philanthropies has distributed the cars to the beneficiaries at the headquarters of Aljazirah Vehicles Agencies in Riyadh. The cars were distributed by Ms. Amal Al Kathiri, Executive Director of the National Initiatives Department. Mrs. Najla Aljeaid, Assistant Manger of the National Initiatives Department. Ms. Reem Abukhayal, Assistant Manager of Public Relations and Media Department. Present from Aljazirah Vehicles Agencies as a representative, was Mr. Abdullah Alobthani, Director of the Government Sales Department in the Kingdom.

For over 39 years, Alwaleed Philanthropies has supported and spent more than 4 billion dollars on social welfare, and initiated more than 1000 projects in over 189 countries, managed by 10 Saudi female members, reaching more than 976 million beneficiaries around the world, regardless of gender, race, or religion. Alwaleed Philanthropies collaborates with a range of philanthropic, governmental, and educational organizations to combat poverty, empower women and youth, develop communities, provide disaster relief and create cultural understanding through education.
