Alwaleed Philanthropies "Global" Supports Humanitarian Projects in Guinea

Alwaleed Philanthropies "Global" has partnered with The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) that supports the project of “Improving Livelihoods for Rural Women of Forest Guinea” in West Africa.

The project aims to improve food security in target areas of the Forest Guinea Region through the provision of quality seeds and training in modern farming techniques.

It has also worked on increasing households’ income in target areas by promoting agricultural products processing, conservation and related income generating activities. Alwaleed Philanthropies "Global" has also supported the reduction of water borne disease incidence in target areas through improved access to safe drinking water.

The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a humanitarian, non-governmental, non-profit organization working in more than 30 countries throughout the world.

Alwaleed Philanthropies "Global" are involved in a wide spectrum of humanitarian and philanthropic activities in more than 80 countries. Their main focus areas have been established around strategic initiatives, ranging from Disaster Relief and Community Development, to Women and Youth Empowerment, as well as Promoting Intercultural Understanding.
