Alwaleed Philanthropies announces the 10th installment for the beneficiaries of "Housing and Car Grants" Program

Alwaleed Philanthropies (AP), chaired by HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz AlSaud, announces the list of beneficiaries of the 10th installment of the "Housing and Car Grants" program. The program aims to provide 10,000 housing units and 10,000 cars to Saudi citizens throughout the Kingdom over 10 years. So far, Alwaleed Philanthropies has provided 21,170 beneficiaries with houses and cars as part of its "Housing and Car Grants" program. The number of beneficiaries from housing program reached 14,488 and from cars program is 6,682.

 

The foundation seeks to improve the living standards of Saudi citizens through various community development programs. The "Housing and Car Grants" program is one of the most important local programs, as it supports Saudi families with low incomes by helping them reduce their monthly expenses that go towards housing rents and transportation. The beneficiaries have to meet specific criteria set by the Alwaleed Philanthropies and which are available on the foundation’s official website: www.alwaleedphilanthropies.org

 

The foundation aims to empower all those in need, especially those with few resources. The beneficiaries of the 10th installment of the "Housing and Car Grants" program included a large number of people with special needs, because the foundation believes in enabling them to become more self-reliant, as well as better integrated in their communities.

 

The names of the 10th "Housing and Car Grants" program beneficiaries were announced on HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal’s Twitter account @alwaleed_talal. Alwaleed Philanthropies has distributed the cars to the beneficiaries at the headquarters of Aljazirah Vehicles Agencies in Riyadh. The cars were distributed by Ms. Amal Al Kathiri, Executive Director of the National Initiatives Department. Mrs. Salha Al Zalai, Assistant Manger of the National Initiatives Department. Ms. Reem Abukhayal, Assistant Manager of Public Relations and Media Department. And from Aljazirah Vehicles Agencies representatives, Ms. Lulwah Al Kradees, and Ms. Jawaher Al Kradees.
