First Meeting for Alwaleed Philanthropies’ Management Team in 2018

The Alwaleed Philanthropies’ Management Team met with His Royal Highness, Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal bin Abdulaziz AlSaud, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, for the first meeting on 06/02/2018 to review existing projects and proposed future initiatives at the Foundation’s headquarters in Riyadh.

 

Her Royal Highness Princess Lamia bint Majid AlSaud, the Secretary-General of Alwaleed Philanthropies, discussed operational plans for local and global initiatives’ projects, in partnership with government agencies and non-profit organizations, which embody the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s 2030 Vision under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz AlSaud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz AlSaud. The Foundation’s Activities include community development, the empowerment of women and youth, the provision of disaster relief and the creation of cultural understanding-bridges through education. 

 

Members in attendance were: Executive Manager of Local Initiatives Amal Katheeri, Assistant Manager Salha Alzalai, Operations Manager Safia Alattas, Global Initiatives Manager Sarah Bakhsh, Assistant Manager for Global Initiatives Rana Alterafi and Media and PR representatives, Sarah Almojadidi and Alanoud AlSweid.

 

For over 37 years, the Alwaleed Philanthropies supported and initiated projects in over 164 countries regardless of gender, race, or religion. The Alwaleed Philanthropies collaborated with a range of philanthropic, government, and educational organizations to combat poverty, empower women and youth, develop communities, provide disaster relief and create cultural understanding through education and building bridges for a more compassionate, tolerant, and accepting world.
