First Class of Toddlers Graduate from Alwaleed Philanthropies "Global"' Nursery, Jizan

With the support of the Alwaleed Philanthropies "Global", Chaired by HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, and in cooperation with the King Fahad Charitable Women’s Society in Jizan, 97 Nursery students graduated from the Alwaleed Philanthropies "Global" in Jizan on Wednesday 14th May 2014.

This project began in 2012, it was fully furnished and equipped with state of the art educational material.  The project included classes for toddlers, infants and kindergarten students. One of the main initiatives of the project was creating jobs and opportunities for young ladies of the community. During phase one of the project, 20 Female staff were employed at the nursery. The nursery in parallel served one of the Foundations’ initiatives, *A’id, which is dedicated to Vocational Training, Employment and Woman Enablement directed by Mrs. Nora Al Malki – Executive Manager of Development Projects.

The King Fahad Charitable Women’s Society was established in 1403h and it aims to offer an array of different social services to the local community on a regular basis. The Organization achieves its goals and initiatives through different specialized committees set up to maintain and follow the social changes that are ongoing in the area, and investing in the community to create more opportunities for women.

This partnership and support from the Foundation enables the King Fahad Charitable Womens Society to offer different services such as symposiums, short training courses and exhibitions. The Nursery project was the first collaboration in this strategic partnership between the King Fahad Charitable Women’s Society and the Alwaleed Philanthropies "Global", of which the primary aim of the partnership is to create more opportunities and jobs for women in the community.

Ms. Nuha Al Khouli, the Director of the Alwaleed Bin Talal Nursery gave an opening speech to the graduation class, and the assistant Director Mr. Rihab Muslim, along with the Director of the King Fahad Women’s Charity Ms. Muna Ruzaik were all in attendance.

Alwaleed Philanthropies "Global" is involved in a wide spectrum of humanitarian and philanthropic activities in more than 90 countries. Their focus areas are established around strategic initiatives, ranging from Disaster Relief and Community Development, to Women and Youth Empowerment, as well as Promoting Intercultural Understanding.
