Alwaleed Philanthropies Marks Partnership with the General Administration of Education in Riyadh and Takaful Charity Foundation under the “Ufuq” Educational Initiative

In line with the strategic partnership between Alwaleed Philanthropies, chaired by HRH Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud, the General Administration of Education in Riyadh Region, and Takaful Charity Foundation, the “Ufuq” educational initiative has been implemented across four targeted schools. The initiative aims to enhance the quality of the learning environment and improve student learning outcomes through the integration of smart tools and artificial intelligence technologies.
Impact of the Partnership on Target Schools
The impact of the partnership was clearly demonstrated during a visit to Al-Bazaar Intermediate School, one of the participating schools in the initiative, which received a high-level delegation comprising representatives from Alwaleed Philanthropies, the Ministry of Education’s General Department of Social Responsibility and Volunteering, and Takaful Charity Foundation, in the presence of HRH Princess Lamia bint Majed Al Saud, to review the tangible outcomes of the initiative in the participating schools.

During the visit, HRH Princess Lamia bint Majed Al Saud was briefed on the advanced technological solutions provided through the initiative, which included: Smart classrooms: Fully equipped learning labs featuring interactive screens, tablets, and an engaging interactive experience designed to enhance student participation.

AI-powered learning experience: Smart platforms delivering customized training questions alongside proactive performance monitoring to ensure early academic intervention.
