Alwaleed Philanthropies "Global" Supports Charitable Society for Autism Families

Alwaleed Philanthropies "Global" that is chaired by HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, supported a course of psychotherapy art to the benefit of The Charitable Society for Autism Families in Riyadh.

The psychotherapy art course aims to train specialists of art therapy which has been scientifically proven to be effective of in modifying the condition of autism and other psychiatric diseases.

The course will be instructed by academic professors with field experiences specializing in every aspect of the course session which will be held by The Art Center, Autism Research and Treatment Center which is licensed by King Abdullah Institute for Research and Consulting Studies at King Saud University.

The course aims to train 20 specialists (males and females) and will be held on two sessions per year throughout a full semester (15 hours per week).

Alwaleed Philanthropies "Global" is involved in a wide spectrum of humanitarian and philanthropic activities in more than 90 countries. Their main focus areas have been established around strategic initiatives, ranging from Disaster Relief and Community Development, to Women and Youth Empowerment, as well as Promoting Intercultural Understanding.
