Alwaleed Philanthropies and Diriyah Gate Development Authority Conclude the Excellence in Workplace Program

Alwaleed Philanthropies, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Alwaleed bin Talal AlSaud, in collaboration with Diriyah Gate Development Authority, has successfully concluded the Excellence in Workplace Program, graduating 60 trainees at the authority’s headquarters in Diriyah.
Now in its second consecutive year, the program reaffirms the success of this partnership and its positive impact. It has significantly contributed to its objectives by developing local talents and offering a unique and enriching training experience.
This initiative reflects the authority’s commitment to community engagement and providing training opportunities in the hospitality sector to strengthen local identity. It enables community members to welcome guests and visitors to At-Turaif District, offering an exceptional cultural and historical experience that highlights Diriyah’s history, the First Saudi State, and the present-day Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.

The program graduated 60 trainees, including both current employees and new trainees who will receive employment opportunities upon completion. Alwaleed Philanthropies conducted a three-week training program in collaboration with the Education For Employment, alongside historical workshops delivered by Diriyah Gate Development Authority experts.
The graduation ceremony was attended by officials from Alwaleed Philanthropies and the authority. Eng. Najla AlJeaid, Deputy Secretary General of Alwaleed Philanthropies, and Ms. Ahlam Al-Thunayan, Senior Director of Community Partnerships at Diriyah Gate Development Authority, presented certificates of achievement to the trainees.

The Excellence in Workplace Program is a testament to how investing in local capabilities can create valuable training and educational opportunities that strengthen national identity and deliver a lasting impact on society."
