Alwaleed Philanthropies Strategic Partner of Joud Charitable Society

Alwaleed Philanthropies that is chaired by HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, supported and sponsored the annual ceremony for gifted students, sons and daughters of the families with limited income and the orphanage society last Wednesday at Joud Society, which is chaired by Mrs. Aljohara Almangoor in the Eastern Province.

The annual ceremony is part of the joint program between Alwaleed Philanthropies and Joud Society, which aims to invest in education and talent to raise the standards of living for families with limited income. 509 students were honored students this year and included gifted student, and mothers enrolled at the literacy program. The ceremony was planned and organized by Joud’s employees and volunteers from families sponsored by Joud.

The program is part of Alwaleed Philanthropies’ projects to raise the living standards of families with limited income and is overseeing implementation by Mrs. Nora Al-Malki, Executive Manager of Development Projects. The ceremony was also attended by and Ms. Najla Tarabzouni, Communications and Media Manager at Alwaleed Philanthropies.

Joud Charitable Society was founded in 1400H in Dammam and has recently established a Rehabilitation Center for Special Needs, and also provides important social services for families with limited income.

Alwaleed Philanthropies are involved in a wide spectrum of humanitarian and philanthropic activities in more than 90 countries. Their main focus areas have been established around strategic initiatives, ranging from Disaster Relief and Community Development, to Women and Youth Empowerment, as well as Promoting Intercultural Understanding.
