Alwaleed Philanthropies Support the Victims of the Indonesia Disaster with a 533,333 Dollars Donation

Alwaleed Philanthropies (Registered in Lebanon), chaired by HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz AlSaud, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation are supporting efforts to help those affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami that have devastated Indonesia. Recipients of the 533,333 Dollars in funding through International Medical Corp.

 

On Friday, September 28, a 7.5-magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia, which led to generating a devastating tsunami. So far, the death toll has reached to more than 2000.

 

International Medical Corps works to relieve the suffering of those impacted by war, natural disaster and disease by delivering vital health care services that focus on training, helping devastated populations return to self-reliance.

 

For over 4 decades, Alwaleed Philanthropies has supported and spent more than 4 billion dollars on social welfare, and initiated more than 1000 projects in over 164 countries, managed by 10 Saudi females members, reaching more than 533 million beneficiaries around the world, regardless of gender, race, or religion.
