Alwaleed Philanthropies partners with UNHCR

Alwaleed Philanthropies  discussed future collaborations as part of its partnership with United Nations Higher Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in an aim to collide efforts of philanthropy.


Last Sunday, a meeting was held between HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, and Mr. Imran Riza, Regional Representative to the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries and Mr. Nabil Othman, Deputy Regional Representative in the Gulf Cooperation Countries in Kingdom Holding Company in Riyadh.


The meeting focused on discussing philanthropic projects, outreach, and the overall impact of the Alwaleed Philanthropies' humanitarian initiatives across the globe as well as coordinating international action to protect refugees and resolve refugee problems worldwide.


As part of Alwaleed Philanthropies' commitment to provide rapid aid and relief to all affected communities around the world, it has recently partnered with (UNHCR) to support the Syrian refugees and their children who are struggling to stay warm and dry in their tents and shelters during the massive snowstorm, Alexa.


The meeting was attended by members of Alwaleed Philanthropies that included Ms. Abir Kaki, Secretary General, Ms. Nauf Al-Rawaf Executive Manager of International Projects, Ms. Najla Tarabzouni, Communications and Media Manager.


The meeting was also attended by Ms. Heba Fatani, Senior Executive Manager, Corporate Communications Department (CCD), Dr. Nahla Nasser Alanbar, Private Executive Assistant to HRH the Chairman, and Mr. Fahad Bin Saad Bin Nafel, Executive Assistant to HRH the Chairman.
